Tips, tricks, and a few notes from the studio.
Buzzer is unlabeled — ring 3R when you arrive. The building has an elevator — the studio is fully wheelchair-accessible and step-free from the lobby.
Open in Google MapsL train — Morgan Ave5 min walk. Most clients come in on the L.
J train — Flushing Ave10 min walk. Less crowded option.
G train — Broadway14 min walk. Scenic if the weather's nice.
DrivingStreet parking, usually fine. Don't park near the fire hydrant on the corner.

Buzz 3R, walk up three flights. Take your shoes off in the hallway. The kettle's on. Margot the cat will probably greet you — let me know if you're allergic and I'll keep her in the back.
We sit and talk about the piece, look at references together, and I draw the final on tracing paper. Nothing happens to skin until we're both happy with the design.
Single-needle and fine-line take patience — most pieces are 1.5–3 hours. We'll take short breaks if it's a longer session. Music is on, conversation if you want it, silence if you don't.
Aftercare instructions go home with you on a printed card; I also mail you a small follow-up zine a week later. Healing photos optional but encouraged — they help the next person see what to expect.
Booking opens the first Sunday of each month at 10am EST. The four-step request form takes about three minutes.
